Two twelve ounce cans completely emptied into a clear glass liter mug produced a somewhat hazy yellow-amber liquid. There was an off-white head that quickly disappeared. True to its aim, there's plenty of lemon in the air, along with some malt and even some hops. But, so far as the nose goes, you want lemon, you got lemon. It also delivers the lemon in a big taste way. It's not bitter, but it's not overly sweet. More like a spiked and flavored setzer it is, but better. It has at least, a lagers body. Obviously faint praise, but better than setzer. It provides a lemony beer flavor without going too sweet, nor too bitter. Unfortunately, the strong lemon presence overwhelms any description of the beer that carries it. This is better than most shanties and it has enough beer qualities; i. e. mouthfeel and carbonation to give it more than two thumbs down. Overall, this isn't for any serious beer drinker. But it provides what it portends nicely, better than most.

Decently average. A lighter beer with lemon flavoring. Comes through as a lemon shandy. Good for one, maybe two, but if lemon shandys are not your thing, look elsewhere.
