Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co. "Call Of The Tropics"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$4.25 @ Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA
Notes via stream of consciousness: Well there's definitely something unusual going on here. The aroma is sweet and fruity with the clove and ginger coming through clearly. There's lime zest in it as well but I'm not finding that in the aroma. The body is a very hazy deep golden and the head is a densely creamy cap of foam. That aroma is something else! Let's see if it tastes the same. Yep, I'd say it tastes exactly the same with some added wheatiness and lime. It's weird but it's delicious. I feel compelled to keep drinking it! In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp then smooth. I have to give the crew at Neshaminy Creek credit for the creativity on this one. It's personally a little bit heavy on the clove for me but the balance of the ginger and the lime are perfect. Nicely done!
