Collaboration with Haymarket Pub and Brewery
Brewed in collaboration with Haymarket Pub & Brewery, this hoppy saison is a real thirst quencher. The same malt bill was brewed at both locations & features two different hop varieties. The DHB version features the citrus/tropical punch of Galaxy & Mosaic.

64 oz growler from the source. Served in a Jack's Abbey pint glass.
A - Big white foam settles to a solid cap, thicker collar and splotchy lacework. Lightly hazed pale golden body.
S - Loads of hops mixed with fruity and estery Belgian yeast. Not overly phenolic like some other DryHop Belgian offerings. Very tropical and juicy, with some grain character in the periphery that reveals the
T - Taste is a bit more Belgian, but with a definite juicy, exotic hop profile. Some bitterness from the Galaxy, but not excessive; seems to be cut by the gentler, juicier Mosaic hops. Lots of flavor for only 5.5%. Very 'White IPA' in some ways, albeit without the coriander.
M - Pleasant carbonation, medium body, some grain, but quite oily and resinous in the finish. Drinks more like an wheat IPA than a saison, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Again, lots of heft for the listed ABV.
D - This was really enjoyable. Curious to see how the Haymarket version compares, but a well done take on a 'style' that isn't always well-executed. Would order this one again, and definitely a nice treat for Growler Saturday.
