Spring is finally here & we have a crisp, sessionable saison with a twist. The rye malt gives it spice notes & the roasted dandelion root bumps it up a notch with earthy attributes. And don’t worry, a lot of dandelions were harmed in the making of this beer.

On-tap at DryHop and then out of a 1L growler.
A - White foam settles to a wispy cap, specks of lace, and a solid collar. Lightly hazed golden body.
S - Rye and farmhouse yeast; not as dirty or funky as some other DryHop Belgians. Some sweet sugary malt makes this a bit more American, but it's not overly saccharine.
T - Taste has more sugary malt up front and less rye presence. Yeast shows up in the finish, with a slightly savory, smokey note creeping in.
M - Dry, medium body, with a bit of lingering stickiness. Carbonation is on the lower side of moderate. No alcohol really.
D - I was hoping this was another one of DryHop's pale ales when I ordered it; whoops. Still it's one of their better Belgian efforts. Not essential, but enjoyable enough.
