A pre-prohibition pilsner brewed with 6-row and corn from Sugar Creek Malt Company in Indiana. Lagered it for four weeks, this is a smooth lagerbier with a small snap of bitterness.

Transcribing notes from 2022-08-12. On-tap at Revolution Brewpub in Logan Square. Clear golden amber color with a small thin white head. Piney hop aroma. Hop bitterness flavor is more intense than the nose suggested but some lemon notes cut through to balance. Medium bodied. I'll be coming back for this!

I had this on draft at Revolution's taproom 10/13/22.
Nice earthy, almost Keller/Zwickl vibes here; fresh corn, a hint of barnyard funk and nice lemon notes on the finish. I'd have another!!

I am a huge believer of the Sugar Creek Malt that Revolution used to brew this beer. This is by a landslide the best lager that Revolution has brewed. Hopefully they package it some day.

Cloudy golden color. Aroma has notes of sweet Pilsner malts, some light corn, spicy hops. Taste is the same with a lot of wet straw. Hops are a bit more floral on the palate, but still have some spicy notes. Really bright carbonation. Surprisingly refreshing beer. Nice pre-pro Pilsner.
