Picked up a single at this cool beer/wine place off 355 in Rockville this evening. Starts with no head and a bit of corn in the nose. The body is strangely cloudy. I couldn't find a date on this can but this brew may be a little off. Seems a bit sour and lower in carbonation than I usually see in the style. Glad I only got a single.

Pours a mostly clear straw color with visible and very fizzy looking carbonation. The head is large but dissipates quickly.
Clean dry cracker aromas that later yields some bready sweetness. The hops aromas emit lightly lemony notes and later, floral notes.
Light bodied and crisp with an overly fizzy carbonation that contributes to an unfortunately coarse mouthfeel. The taste opens with clean dry cracker flavors and then a bready flavor that becomes a touch too sweet. There is not much hops bitterness leading to a lack of balance. There is some hops flavors that are lemony and floral. There is a strange soapy flavor I can’t put my finger on. The finish is clean.
Even paired with Mexican food, this didn’t do it for me. Too fizzy and unbalanced. I would have frankly preferred a macro Mexican style lager.
