Pours an effervescent orange/amber with a sliver of pearl white head. Stays effervescent, alright head retention & good lacing
S: Pears, a little bit of persimmon
T: Follows the nose, figs, a little bit of raisin, a bit of green appleskin & a bit of dirtiness up front. Faint leafy hops, a little caramel & a little bit of cinnamon as this warms, a wisp of woodiness & just a bit of pineapple & mango. Finishes with orchard & tropical fruit & woody dryness, plus some dates
MF: Medium body, slightly over carbonated
Not taking me all the way to Flanders or Northern France, but close. Well worth a go, more towards a classic rendition of style vice a big slap of Brett in the face, very drinkable
