Pours a cloudy, maize color. 2/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of bacterial funk, alcohol, citrus (raspberries?), slight pale malt, slight sweet malt, fresh herb (marjoram?), slight pine, hint of hops, and yeast. Fits the style of a Saison / Farmhouse Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong bacterial funk, strong yeast, sweet malt, slight hops, alcohol, citrus, hint of pine, and herbs. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, body, blend, and complexity.

Went to the brewery today and met some of the makers. They described this beer to me made of all local ingredients including grits and rice from the war eagle mill located a few miles away.

Pours a golden, copper color with a 3 finger tan head. Has some good lacing and has an awesome fruit smell. You can taste the distinct saison and fruits. There's some cream in their and a small bite that stays on the palate.

This is what craft beer is all about!

Perfect on the nose.... the Saison style yeast can not be mistaken.
Hard to compare with other beers, the Style is claimed to be indigenous to Arkansas
