A "canned on" and "freshest by" on the bottom. Thanks dudes.

I imagine someone handing this beer to me ten years ago, how quickly I would have spat it out. As it stands, this is exactly the beer I'd want on a sticky summer's night as a substitute for all the bland "light" beers out there. I can chug this fruity beer down, and it's just sour enough to keep me from questioning my taste.

Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a thick white head that recedes slowly leaving very little lacing. The aroma is lemon. Flavor is sour lemon, not much going on. Feel is okay, well carbonated. Overall I would not buy/recommend this beer.

Poured a slightly hazy, orange color with a small, thin head of foam. It smelled of tart, sour red grapefruit. Tasted light eating a grapefruit, but slightly less sour.

From a 12oz can:

Appearance: Opaque orange, ok head.

Smell: Tartness, maybe some lemon?

Taste: Moderate tartness, lemon peel/rind, dry and bitter finish.

Overall: I'm not a big sour fan but I like to try them and challenge myself. Lucy is pretty drinkable and light, but seems to be a little one-note on the lemon. Worth a try.

Lucy pours a cloudy copper color with a very small lacing head. Slightly sour aroma, lots of lemon. Flavor is lots of lemon, with a sour from the lemon. Good body and feel. Overall a drinkable and fresh tasting citrus beer.

Poured from 12 oz can into shaker pint glass. Best by 8/23/17.
A: Pours a slightly hazy orange-yellow hue with very active carbonation jets fueling a 1/2 inch white head with decent retention.
S: Tropical fruit, white pepper, mild funk, and mild sweet citrus. Hint of pine.
T: Tropical fruit hits first with passion fruit and key lime, then the funk, tartness, and citrus sweetness kicks in. Finishes with white pepper, pine, and kefir lime. Very interesting across the palate.
M: Light body. Tropical sweetness at first, then funky, tart, and mildly bitter aspects hit, finishing dry and sour. Fairly soft throughout (perhaps from the lactobacillus?).
D: Interesting construction of the brew...and it is pulled off well. I really enjoy when a beer hits a variety of notes as it washes across the palate...and this one hits a--mostly concordant--orchestra of notes.

This beer pours a hazy orange with a smallish head. The aroma features notes of sour candy and very overripe fruit, and cotton candy. The flavor starts with an strong chemically flavor, like ink, and then moves to bitter lemon juice, underripe pineapple, and finishes with a woody bitter streak. The mouthfeel is light, fizzy, and almost soda like. Overall this is not an enjoyable experience. Maybe there is something wrong with this? It has a very unpleasant bitterness, unbalanced by any sweetness, and lots of artifiical and sugary qualities.

L: nearly opaque hazy gold amber with rapidly rising bubbles around the edges. A 1" ivory frothy foam collar has fair to poor retention.

S: smells like fresh bread dough, citrus, tropical fruit, and a mild lactobacillus sourness.

T: Medium lemony tartness leads the flavors followed by an assertive bitter accent mid-palate.

F; light, tart, highly carbonated with some prickle

O: refreshing and easy to drink.
