A juiced up Saison brewed with multiple Brett strains. Blue Blood is refermented on fresh blood oranges and blueberries. Pouring a hazy translucent plum, Blue Blood greets you with pronounced blood orange, passion fruit, and a hint of clove. With a dry, tart, and fruity finish, it's a bitter citrus sensation.

Violet ruby clear body with a pink tinted white ring. Brett, blueberry, orange zest, clementine, oak, and with slight mint/clove aromas. Really like the blueberry and orange combo up front, don't get the passionfruit that is advertised, but get plenty of brett, dried mint, clove, and oak following. Body is very shaped by the brett: dry, slightly funky, pretty high carbonation, and has slight pucker.

Poured from 375ml bottle into glass. Label lists bottled date is 'July/2018'.
Cloudy, bright plum colored body, with a visual show of rising bubbles. The fizzy head disappears as soon as the beer is poured, but the ring is constantly replenished by bubbles. No lacing.
Very aromatic with blood orange and blueberries, oak barrel, and Brett funk.
Taste is somewhat tart, with some dry funk. The fruit is in the higher regions of flavors. The spice of cloves is discernible, as in the oak barrel.
Light, but medium weight mouth feel. Carbonation is quite high.
The fruit flavors are not very sweet, and overall taste expression is rather dry and heavily influenced by funk. This is a tasty Saison, and enjoyed quite a bit. Hides the higher ABV% well.
