Inspired by the unique flavor profile of Brûlée, we worked
with our friends at Icehouse to create a palatable marriage
between hand-torched burnt sugar and citrus and our dry,
funky saison. Our latest Wooden Soul collaboration is aged
in wooden barrels and refermented with freshly zested
oranges, grapefruits, lemons, along with lemon verbena and
burnt sugar. With a light golden orange haze, Brûlée reels
you in with a sweet orange taffy aroma. Unique and juicy,
expect notes of fruity and bitter citrus rounded out by a
delicate caramel aroma. Brûlée away!

Had on tap at the Ice House. bit tart smells with a lot of interesting under tones of fruit, herbs and spice. Hazy amber under a thin white film. The flavors are lemony with citrus, a light sweetness that softens the tart slightly, hints of cooked fruit, and light wood. Light, tart and effervescent. A perfect companion to my pastrimi rueben sandwich.

Had on tap. I have seen on the site that shall not be named that people are killing this. Couldn't disagree more! Thought the hand torched oranges, grapefruit, lemon, and caramelized sugar was not only inventive and fun, but also delicious. Fit right in with the sour oak, brett, and flowers. Has nice sugary and sour finish. Just thought this was a really cool beer. The feel captured the whimsical creme brulee texture, sugary, slight burn, and in this case, plenty of sour fruitiness, though could see how this texture might be broken for some. Inventive
