Pours a dark brown with Ruby hues when held to the light, a tan head that leaves good lacing. Aromas and flavors are hop forward and balanced by some chocolate malt and hints of earthy tobacco. A very nice brown ale. RIP Buster.

Tasted from a 22 oz bomber bought at the brewery.
L - Dark mahogany color, but light shows through the glass. Good clarity. Light tan head is thin but sticky and persistent with large bubbles and good lacing.
S - Great aromas of chocolate, warm biscuits and a hint of molasses. Light hops in the background come across as woody and herbal more than citrusy, but still clean.
T - Flavors are not as malt-dominant as the aromas. Hops hit the palate first, with a woody/herbal character. Malt comes in later, with some molasses, bread and a hint of roastiness. Chocolate from the aroma is not apparent. Not as deep and complex as the aroma.
F - Medium body; creamy, moderate carbonation. Moderate to high hops bitterness. Low alcohol presence.
O - A tasty American brown ale. Not overly special or outstanding, but all characteristics are clean, well-made and pleasant.

This is a really good beer, pronounce hop flavor and aroma, chocolate and toasted malts really come together in this one. Flavor is consistent from start to finish. the head does dissolve rather quickly. The nose reminds me of the the holidays with spices and chocolate. Overall a good solid brown ale.

On tap at Bravery Brewing in Lancaster, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy lattice of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, and nutty aromas. Taste is much the same with caramel and nutty flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice nutty presence in the aroma and flavor.
