Pours a cloudy yellow color with a fluffy white head. The head never fully dissipates and leaves nice lacing. The nose is spicy, fruity and floral. The taste is a wonderful assortment of flavors ranging from touches of citrus to pepper, bubblegum and fruitiness. Overall, this is a good saison with a good range of flavors. It's not quite as dry as I had hoped, but it goes down very easily and is super refreshing.

JAFB has a line of brews that all look nearly identical to each other, with a golden amber hue and classic levels of carbonation and head. This one isn't all the far off, but the beers all stand well on their own.
Harvest Saison has more banana and clove notes yet is lighter than their Farmyard Pale Ale.

Enjoyed from a growler via the brewery. This nice saison pours a cloudy yellowish orange with a moderate white head that dissipates to a thin ring and spotty lacing. Nose of lemon zest, floral hops, candy sugar, white pepper, citrus fruits, and earthy yeast. Flavors follow the nose with Belgian candy sugar and citrus notes to the front and sides, lemon and orange zest to the rear blends with earthy yeast and spicy white pepper. Lightly tart aftertaste mixed with citrus and spice. Solid example of the style with a smooth mouth feel that finishes dry. A very nice brew indeed.
Cheers

On tap at JAFB - This is available "twice a year" according to bartender.
A great blend of hops, yeast. Some bubblegum. Juicy then dry. Perfect carbonation. Very enjoyable. Just a touch below the best farmhouse ales out there.
