Palate Contaminants: other beer
Color is raisin red, with bits of yellow at the edges. Not a whole lot of head or lacing.
Very floral scent, even perfumy. Plenty of fresh cilantro, too. Sour cherries are in there, too. It's heavy.
The cherries are much heavier in the taste. However, the floral and sour elements are just too over the top. It works okay enough as a sipper, but who wants that in a brew? I'm actually doing it as shots to not get overwhelmed. I suppose I'm also catching a little cinnamon.
If I don't dwell on it, the aftertaste is a reasonably okay sour cherry and tree flowers. It's more acidic than about anything else I've encountered. Moderate carbonation.

750ml corked/caged bottle served in a slightly tulippy wineglass. Batch 4.16.20. Bought it in March at the brewery.
Pours a dark, murky, purple-brown with a small head. Small amount of light carbonation. Smell is cherry, tart, sweet tart chalky. Maybe some vanilla cream.
Taste is moderately tart, fairly strong cherry, tart is getting stronger. Fruit skin / stem earthiness.
Mouthfeel is medium heft with a moderate chalky texture. Overall, it's pretty good.
