Pours a dark ruby red, slightly cloudy though it does clarify as it settles; brief 2" pink foam that quickly settles out, very little racing. Nose is wood and dark cherries - pretty straightforward aromas here; cherries suggest some sweetness, while there's a faint acetic note of sourness. BIt of vanilla from the barrel. Taste light cherry tartness up front and throughout; mid-palate barrel (wood, char, bourbon notes) shine through, but rather subtly; finish once again turns sour. After reaching significant warming and decanting, it does get significantly more tart, while the barrel and wood notes fade away. I drank this bottle over the course of two days, and far preferred it on day two, finding it far more fruit and sour forward.

4oz pour at the brewery.
Ruby, slight hazy, tiny creamy head. Smell is tart, cherry, generally fruity.
Taste is cherry, tart, soft. Sweet-tart in nature.
Mouthfeel is light and smooth. Overall, really good.
