A summer saison at VSP/B pours very clean and crisp looking. Soapy foam white head can desire more body, but otherwise this looks great.
Subdued aroma for a saison. The perks are there; white pepper, spice, grass, floral...summer I guess
Flavors follow with the spice, grass and some clove. The hops add the spice while I think the yeast provides the floral and subtle biscuit. The malt is light and long, but lays down at the end, which finishes quite dry and crisp. Good feel, nice carbonation. I had a grilled cheese with this and it handled the cheese and bread quite nicely.
