What’s in a name? The brewers mantra, “more hops” is taken as far as possible in this beer. A deep amber body balances the bitterness and makes that long day at work seem a distant memory. Just ask for a pint of “the dank!!” This beer is also dry hopped with whole flower and cascade hops.

Had on tap at their southern sun brewery in south boulder.
On arrival a fine white 1 finger head was present that left vague lacing. Carbonation is lazy and light and the body is a dark reddish brown.
Aroma is slightly yeasty with some nice British ale stone fruit notes. Some hops are also present on the nose with a floral and bitter note.
Flavor is ESB all the way caramel malts with a big hop bitterness that has some light floral notes. Beyond that it was a bit less hoppy and more astringent then their amber but pretty close.
Feel was big and malty with a mouthcoating quality. Mild to medium carbonation bite and a soft smooth bready head on each sip.
Overall this was a quality beer with solid ESB character. quite similar to Chinwag from Hogshead in terms of maltiness.
