500ml corked/caged bottle served in a pair of crystal snifters. 2015 vintage. Gift from a friend.
Pours a clear brownish with a small head and not much carbonation. Smell is sweet/tart, a little plummy, definitely something like cherry.
Taste is very tart, very fruity -- still along the lines of plum and cherry.
Mouthfeel is light, moderately thin, quite dry. Overall, very tasty.

Poured a translucent dark red in the glass - like cranberry juice. The smell is rich and sweet, picked up notes of cranberries and dark fruits. Smells tart but not much barnyard funk characteristics going around. The flavors are the same. Strong note of cranberries, dark fruits and a little festive spices. It's very sweet, rich and tart throughout. The sourness is there but doesn't overwhelm the palate - making this an easy beer to drink. Notes of oak throughout, also slightly vinous. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. The rich flavors almost makes it full in the mouth. Overall I liked this a lot. Very comparable to New a Glarus Enigma, but this one has far more notes of cranberries.
