22oz bottle served in a nonic pint glass. No date that I see, but it says 2018 Release. Don't remember where or when I got the bottle. Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged Heid Banger, Red Rye Scotch Ale.
Pours clearish dark brown with a small head and medium to low carbonation. Smell is mild, malty whiskey and vanilla.
Taste is moderately strong whiskey flavor, fairly woody, sweetish with vanilla and caramel/toffee.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, moderately still. Surprisingly, for the sweetness, not terribly sticky. Overall, I think it's kind of an amped up scotch ale, and pretty good at that.

Appearance is dark ruby with one finger of dense beige foam. Head has good retention and lacing. Aroma is caramel and whiskey. Taste is similar. It has a subtle sweetness and a hint of oak. Medium bodied with just a bit of heat.
