India Pale Lager
Brewed in collaboration with New Anthem Beer Project from Wilmington. Using pilsner malt from Carolina Malt House, and dry hopped with all Cashmere, expect a soft citrusy nose with peach and pear flavors, and a dry finish.

Look: It pours golden and clear with a full white head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: There are citrus and pear aromas up front. There are some peach notes with very low bread notes.
Taste: The flavors are a combination of peach, citrus, and pear very much in balance with each other. The hops really come out as the rest of it is clean with a very low bread note.
Feel: It has medium body with long lasting hop bitterness throughout the finish.
Overall, the hops really shine with the lager. It is clean with the only other notes being from the malt in the background.

A: Pours a relatively clear medium to dark golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + amber + burnt orange + bright yellow + brassy colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a few patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of citrus/lime, citrus/lime zest, citrus/lemon zest, tropical/melon, and herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + cereal grain + bready + caramel malts with a hint of grainy + caramel sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of lager yeast.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + cereal grain + bready + caramel malts with a hint of grainy + caramel sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are moderate flavors of citrus/lime, citrus/lime zest, citrus/lemon zest, tropical/melon, and herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving lingering herbal + citrus zest hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly crisp + refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable with an interesting and complex hop flavor and aroma. I could easily have a couple of these.
