This single barrel barleywine was aged in a wheated Weller barrel and contains no additional adjuncts. What you get is our purest form of barrel-aging, allowing the beer and the barrel to speak for themselves. Expect notes of brandied cherries, black mission figs, and vanilla with a pleasant warming sensation imparted from the oak and spirit.

Murky orangey brown body, small tan cap that disappears almost immediately. Smells of leather, prune, grain, barley, and wheated bourbon in the opposite order of strength but that order in which they are encountered with each element covering up the next. In the taste the wheated barrel bonds naturally with the barley. Supported by a mix of molasses, grain, anise, prune, and char. Feel is lighter but not thin, slight grain burn added to the barley detracting from the rusting feel by cutting the depth
