Bottle dated 2014.
Pours hazy copper with plenty of murky dregs left behind in the bottle. A slight skim of white surfaced briefly from the pour, followed by a placid surface and a few short legs of lacing.
Aromatics lead off with a heavy brett presence and strong funk. Pineapple skin, wet boards, horse stalls, and cheese-rubbed old socks.
Light bodied with a limp and flatish mouthfeel.. Too bad.
The palate starts winey and citrus-laden. Oranges and mango with vineous oak.
Finishes fairly dry sans the fruity tropical citrus character, with lingering cheesy funk and pineapple.
Great beer, would be stellar if properly carbonated.

Poured into a Belgian tulip.
Pours with a wispy, pale white head that forms a half-finger thick head. A wall of sticky lace shoots up the sides. The body is a cloudy orange color with trickling carbonation. 4.25
Big grapefruit and orange flavor, slight tartness, and lemony acidity are on the nose. Some sweet malt is there. 4.25
The taste is fresh squeezed grapefruit with some tart funk. There's some sweet orange and a peppery finish. It's tasty. 4.25
This drinks easily and is refreshing, with a good balance of tart and sweetness. There's a slight acidity but nothing like a sour beer. 4.5
Hugely fruity, tart, and refreshingly drinkable, this is the second gem of a beer I've discovered from Paradox. 4.25
