Either bottle #011 or 911 of 1140 (number is handwritten on the bottle).
Weak, almost non-existent head (no 'pop' when the bottle was opened) atop a dark, golden body. Apricot and booze aroma; musty. Deep, fermented fruit flavor with a strong alcohol burn and wild hop bitterness. Thick, chewy body; very sweet and heavy feel.
This is a bulldozer of a beer. Big, brutish, powerful. More carbonation would have helped this one overall with appearance and mouthfeel, yet the apricot and honey ingredients certainly come through with the taste. The alcohol can be an eye-popper, too, yet remains somewhat controlled with the adjuncts used in the making of this beer. Worth a try of huge barleywine styled beers are your thing.

The beer pours still and is a cloudy pale orange color. A small reveals legs like wine on the sides of the glass.
Aroma is hot and smells just like rum, a little bit of caramelized sugar and fruit make an appearance at the end.
The taste is dominated by alcohol. Very hot and sharp, the rum just slaps you in the face. I can pick up some notes of molasses and caramelized sugar but it is hard to tell if this is from the rum or from the beer.
Mouthfeel is full and very similar to hard alcohol.
Overall this beer okay. The rum and the high alcohol make it very unlike any "beer" that you will ever have. It is hard to tell that it even is beer as it burns its way down your throat.
