Notes: Brewed with hops from the Pacific Northwest and down under for a big, bold beer with notes of underripe cantaloupe and candied orange peel.

poured into a teku glass via can

color is a bight murky yellow with white foam

smell is an odd mix of citrus and mildew

taste..thankfully much better than the nose, as the citrus and floral components come through

low carbonation and mouthfeel is creamy

Look is beautiful pineapple / grapefruit juice. Smell is vomit, fruit juice, dish soap. Taste is fair to good NEIPA. Absolutely nothing to write home about in the world where Tree House, Other Half, Foam and River Roost exists. Feel? Who cares, I guess the same as taste. Overall, I bought this because it was a 4.3 here and I try all NEIPA's I can get my hands on that are over 4.3. But this isn't a 4.3 and with this review I just did my part to make sure of that.

Fresh can from AJ. Everything you expect from a double NEIPA, and using local hops: foamy haze, citrus and tropical aroma, alcohol warning concomitant with bold hop taste. Big big IBU delivery.

A: Poured from the can into a Palm tulip. Body is hazy goldenrod-yellow with a hint of whitish head on top.

S: Tropical fruit, cat pee, garlic and lemons. Not the greatest nose ever.

T: Tropical fruit - pineapple, canteloupe rind - and garlic. Lemons and limes. Citrus peel. 9% ABV is well hidden when it comes to the palate, but noted as heat in the belly.

M: Light-to-medium heft, modestly juicy feel.

O: Very good, but this hop mix creates what is not my favorite mix of scents and flavors. So I'm rating this a little lower than most Sloop offerings.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Trillium pub glass.

Look is a hazy lemon with an inch white head.

Aroma is cheesy with hops with a little funky lemon.

Taste is definitely sweet Meyer lemon.

Very good.
