12 ounce can into a tulip glass. Canned 6/10/20, had 11/28/20.
Pours a bright, mostly clear yellow, with a half inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of Belgian yeast, juniper, gin, some malt, some black pepper, a little funk. Flavors of gin, Belgian yeast, malt, juniper, light oak, light lemon. Smooth, a good light to medium body, well carbonated.
The gin barrels show well and enhance the base beer. The base is a little light feeling overall for a saison, but it’s good. Enjoyable.
