Clear amber body with a khaki sudsy head. Smell is just citrus hops, almost harsh by how bittering they smell. Taste adds sweeter malts for the style, orange and very bitter pine stand out, not as unbalanced as nose. Feel is driven by the hops, instead of waltzing with the wheat. If you like APWB hoppier you will prefer this more than me

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/27/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts the whole glass. Great thick foamy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, mango, melon, lemon/orange peel, citurs rind, pepper, pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 7%. Overall this is a delicious American pale wheat/IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Nicely vibrant and dank on hops. Tastes like a classic C hopped IPA with balanced pale/wheat malts, and American wheat yeast for added fruity character. A very enjoyable, and pretty unique offering.

Pours a clear crisp orange color. Effervescent. Thick bubbly tan head lingers, slowly dissipating and leaving some tan lacing on the side of the glass.

Smell is a pungent aroma of green hops - the kind of aroma you'd get from opening a bag of hop pellets. Bitter and almost harsh on the nose. Some citrus peaks through.

Taste has notes of orange, strong pine, sap, very bitter in the middle and lingering to the finish and beyond. Again, the hops are almost harsh in this - not well integrated.

Feel is smooth, pretty light. Medium carbonation.

Overall this is an alright beer - It just comes across very rough/harsh and not well integrated - muddled.
