From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74---Cheers Dude!
This solid brew pours a nice lightly hazed yellow with a very nice
head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin clumping layer,
and sports some excellent lacing. Nose of sticky pine, grapefruit, mango,
pineapple, and light breaded malts with honey notes. Flavors follow
nicely with light breaded malts, pineapple, mango, pine, herbal hops,
light white pepper notes, and sweet honey notes. Excellent mouth feel;
medium body, smooth, medium light carbonation that is lightly prickly, and
a sweet tropical and pine touched finish.
Overall----nothing but the best to say about this brewery, always a treat!
Cheers

1 PINT can
Served in a pilsner glass
This beer pours pale yellow and is slightly hazy. It is topped with a few inches of eggshell head that leaves some nice lacing.
Great citrus aroma right off the bat. As it warms the malt comes out.
That great citrus aroma translates to great citrus flavor. Lemon, lime. Light pine in the finish.
Medium bodied with an effervescent mouthfeel
Pretty solid IPL. Believe it or not I would prefer a little thinner mouthfeel in the style to make it more quaffable. I, much prefer, this style of beer to a session IPA. IPLs are just 1000 times better. Not my favorite IPL, but still better than any session IPA that I have ever tasted.

16 ounce can, canned on 1/20/2020, purchased at the brewery 2 or 3 weeks ago. Served in a Hoof Hearted Teku, the beer pours a mostly clear gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like dank/piney hops, citrusy hops (grapefruit, lemon peel) and some bready malt. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some berry and peppery spice flavors. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I thought it was an enjoyable India-Style Lager, although I think it would be better on a hot day. I think it's worth picking up, I wouldn't mind having this again in the future!

Not as hazy as most New England style beers. Slight off flavor that doesn’t offend, but is note able. Lacing is nice. Nose is not very fragrant. With all the off comments, this is a good beer.

Foggy pale gold with a dense, fluffy uniform head that settles to a swirling film leaving arms of lace.
I get a hint of burnt biscuit before lightly dank pine, cannabis and wild herbs.
A good but light froth lifts the medium-light body that finishes semi-dry.

I've got a basement. I occasionally crawls with critters. It's where my beer goes until I drink them. There's a certain sense of delciousness and hebbe-gebbies that comes with the pop on the tab on Hoof Hearted's lagered IPA.
Spazzin' out in the Basement comes right out with a bright lemony and grapefruity first impression. While that crisp lager hits the lips, its appearance is one of hazy lemon and a lacy froth of centricity. Lightly bready, crisp and clean, the beer's upstart is lightly confectionary with powdered sugar, dough and yeast.
Much of the same expires across the middle palate as the slim sweetness fades nearly completely and the hops spring from the palate- gooseberry, kiwi, white grapefruit and lemon continue to play on the tastebuds with a tangy brightness and a bitterness that's sharp and tart. Grass and pepper soon follow while the finish comes quick.
Dry, crisp, clean and highly refreshing- the beer does everything that an Americanized lager does. It shows the body, dryness and spiciness of Germanic originals but with the brisk citrus, pine and tropical exotics that modern beer requires. Still, its limits reside in complexity and depth.
