1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours yellow and turbid with an orangish cast to it. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves spotty lacing.
Citrus and tropical fruit. Some dankness
Tropical fruit with some citrus. Pretty juicy
Medium bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel
Solid IPA. Not their best, but I enjoyed it.

Gifted a can by Josh @ Davenport’s.
Nice everyday IPA. Easy and tasty.
Fan of Citra and Sorachi Ace, and also Pilsner malt... so no surprises. Bright; lightly dank; some citrus and tropical; touches of lemon, pepper and biscuit.
Would definitely grab more.

Notes via stream of consciousness: The cloudy golden body before me suggest that this is a New England style IPA. Is there anything on the label? No, but it does mention being fruity. The head is an inch and a half cap of densely foamy off-white. The aroma is OK. I thought it might be a bit stronger but whatever. It's hoppy with resins and citrus and otherwise tropical fruit: tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit,, guava, lime, melon. On to the taste... it's a little different than I thought it would be given the aroma but not by much. It's sharper, and that at least suggest sharper fruits. I'm finding additional notes of berries, passion fruit, lychee, lemon, and peach. That sounds like a lot, as if it will be a really rich and full beer, but it's not - you have to look for all of those notes. The malt is basic, as it should be to allow the hops to shine, and just gently sweetish. It's slightly acidic, and quite refreshing! The bitterness is restrained but it still finishes dry. Some lemon, lime, and guava linger. Guava, by the way, tastes like a combination of green apple and pineapple to me. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and smooth with a lot of extra proteins (it looks like a milkshake) and a fine-bubbled, median carbonation. Silky smooth! The head held up quite well and it's left beautiful lacing about the glass. In the end there's really nothing new to this juicy NEIPA but it's well made and nicely balanced and rounded. If there's a fault to it I'd pin that on the body which could be slightly fuller but that's also part of what makes it so quaffable - I'd imagine you could drink quite a few of these in a row if you wanted to.

Looks more like a NE Style than a typical IPA, which is what’s the label indicates. Nose is slightly fruity. Head is white with nice lacing. Taste is like the nose, slightly fruity. Have to say I am a bit disappointed in this one.

It seems that beers that have more than three different varieties of hops seem to have their flavors converge into a basic, generic, albeit nice hop flavor; the individuality of those hops are lost. But with the use of Citra and Sorachi Ace hops, Hoof Hearted has me high-steppin' and tailpipin' into the this session.
Pale and lemon-like in its pour, the pastel haze renders the beer nearly opaque. With a creamy crown forming, its strikingly herbal, green and fruity scent takes a highly perfumy aroma akin to waking into any standard Macy's store. But its taste is creamy and crisp with a blend of wafer, angel food cake and mild hints of cereal.
Once the hops open up fully on the middle palate, it drops much of its perfume in favor for a fruitier, nearly tangy sensation as the Citra plays out with under ripened orange, white grapefruit and green mangos. As a peppery, winey and lemony character takes hold, the Sorachi Ace hops have made their mark. Each trending smoothly but also sharply bitter, the late palate is moderate in its hop balance.
With hints of green tea, lemongrass and lemon pepper rising in finish, the beer's textures trend from creamy but clean into a somewhat watery and thin draw through the middle before closing with a peppery, malty-dry mouthfeel. A pep of gin adds to the hop and alcohol complexity as the ale extends into a medium-length sprucy, sassafras aftertaste.

Really impressed with this Riesling Must variant of Tailpipin'. It's easy to drink but the pilsner malts plus the riesling twang gives a dank fruitiness that is really enjoyable. Nothing too crazy like some of Hoof's other 3x or 4x dry hopped triple IPA's but this is just solid and crushable. Great job.
