A: Poured from the can into a tulip glass. Body is really hazy/juicy looking - golden-peach in color with no real head on top.

S: Very nice nose of tropical fruit salad - papaya, melon, some pineapple - and lemony citrus.

T: Follows the nose, with pineapple, papaya, apricot and a nice lemony bitterness at the end, which provides nice balance and a good lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Touch of ABV heat at the back end of the palate and in the belly.

M: Medium in heft, juicy in feel.

O: Excellent. Pretty sure this is my first beer from this brewery . . . I only bought a single, but I will try them again.

Light cloudy golden color with a 4F head in Spielgelau IPA glass.
Drink at about 46°F as suggested by the brewer.
Very floral, fruit and vanilla aroma.
With warming the MF becomes more viscous.
Very sharp fruit taste: tropical and citrus.
Hoppy finish.
Another excellent beer by Hoof Hearted.

Nice hazy golden look with a slight head from pounder can. Nice nose, fruity but a bit understated. Nice really tight and together flavor. Fruity with very little bite. A bit less carbonation works very well. Good stuff.

Great Hall and Oates label, but no can date makes me sad, but my favorite two hops will make me happy again.

Pours a large fluffy dense 1 finger head with great retention and soapy lacing, super cloudy opaque pale-yellow-orange color

Nose loads of citrus and tropical, but some papery pith, doughy wheat in the background, loads of pineapple, little papaya, mango skin, tangerine, lots of sorbet like aromas

Taste mild sweet doughy cracker malt, doughy wheat and more pith, lots of citrus and tropical juicy fruit, mango sorbet, lots of pineapple and citrus pith, tangerine, papaya, mild bitter grapefruit/citrus zest, lots of doughy flaked malt and almost chewy like malt, light alcohol, mild sticky sweet finish, medium to a bit higher bitterness spicy hop and a "green" like bitter chewy/briny finish

Mouth is med bod, little juicy creamy, fuller feeling with rich base and medium-higher carb, a little warming alcohol

Overall OK, hops are pretty good with citrus and tropical fruits, sorbet and juicy, base malts get a little over the top with doughy pithy papery like notes, maybe a little oxidized, and that "green" like finish that needs more time to settle I feel

Seven dollars for an undated can picked up at the Boise Co Op… Yep, full me once… Will not happen again… OK beer, but outrageously expensive in these parts… Only OK

I don't see a date on the can.

Appearance: The body of the beer is a light straw gold color that is opaque. It has a large fluffy white head with good retention and lacing.

Aroma: The beer smells like grapefruit peel, tangerine, and it has a light wildflower aroma.

Taste: It tastes a bit grassy at first, then there is a bit of orange pith flavor. A bit of alcohol and more grass in the finish.

Mouthfeel: There is very little body to the beer and it feels watered down. There is little in the way of bitterness.

Overall: It smells great but expectations are let down when the beer fails to deliver much in the way of flavor or body. It is very grassy tasting. It's not something I'd likely recommend.

16 oz can- Pours hazy straw golden with a nice white head. Aroma is creamy, floral, dandelions, a touch of tropical fruits. The taste is tropical fruits, hops are there but not overbearing, raw malt, not well blended. Wondering if this one's past it's prime. Who knows when breweries don't date stamp though.

No canning date!

L -- Pours a crazy turbid straw/orange haze with two fingers of dense white head produced with moderate pour. Good retention and great lacing. Seriously, this is one of the haziest beers I've ever seen
S -- Orange creamsicle, pineapple, mango, vanilla, lemon sherbert, kiwi, peach. Quite Tree House-y
T -- Orange, clementine, tangerine, guava, peach, hint of green onion and grapefruit rind
F -- Medium mouthfeel, medium carb. Very minimal bitterness on the finish. Carb could be a little fluffier and less prickly
O -- Yes, we did just become best friends. Based on recent ratings, looks like this particular batch was a bit of an anomaly in terms of quality

16oz undated can.

Pours cloudy yellow with a thick head of white. Nice retention and thick ropes of lacing. Pithy grapefruit with shades of pine, peach, and apples in the nose. Medium bodied with a creamy but crisp mouthfeel. Grapefruit with hints of lime leaves, pine, and pear skin on the palate. Zero malt with a firm bitterness. Finishes dry and a bit pithy.

Not all that tropical or juicy and a bit dissapointing for a $5.00 can.

Very good neipa. Wasn’t sure what to expect and I’m very glad I tried this one! Hazy yellow with a thick head that dissipates quickly and leaves a lot of lacing on the glass. Smells of papaya and tropical fruit, taste follows with a nice hoppy finish. 4.25 across the board!

1 PINT can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours like pineapple juice. It is turbid with a yellow hue and topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing.

The smell is tropical fruit. I get a little of the malt as well.

It starts out with tropical fruit. I get some dankness and even a little grapefruit in the finish.

Full bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel

It is a good hangover buster on an NFL Sunday afternoon.

Love the story on the can.
Pours very hazy with bright white head. The nose is not as thick of hops as I expected, but they are there. The taste, like the nose, isn't as heavy on hops as I figured, but again they are there. The follow through is juicy and hoppy, with a follow up of bready hiccup. Great beer that doesn't drink like the Abv

Type: 16-oz. can
Glass: Clear 14.75-oz. porter/stout tulip
From: JJ
Price: N/A
Purchased: N/A; Received June 1, 2017
Consumed: June 12, 2017

Misc.: No canned on date (est. April 18, 2017)

Got this along with nine others from JJ, completing an earlier trade. Had seen JJ checking into Hoof Hearted and all of them looked good. I’m sure part of it was the cool cans, but even more for Hoof Hearted’s reputation. Liked Kokomo Drift from the trade (4.03), but this was the one I saw that I reached for the trade. I love Mosaic and Citra is pretty damn good too. A common pairing, but something made me really want to have this one. Looking forward to it. NOTE #1: I only waited this long to have this one because I couldn’t figure out if this one was different than the Citra & Mosaic one. NOTE #2: Like the Kokomo Drift, I had no idea this was hazy until I opened it.

Poured a straw hazy color with three fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Outstanding sporadic foamy lacing. World-class retention (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled those sugary Citra and Mosaic up front. Also melon, pineapple, white grapefruit, passion fruit, citrus rind and hints of white grapes. (Smell - 4.25)

Tasted even better. Wow, this was juicy. Got melon, pineapple, guava, passion fruit, orange pulp, white grapefruit, hints of juicy kiwi and green grapes, a touch of grass and orange blossom. A little bit of lemon and lime, like a Sprite. Got lots of Citra in hops, but the Mosaic was light. (Taste - 4.50)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)

This was just an excellent hazy DIPA. Want to try more Hoof Hearted! (Overall - 4.25)

Decorated with a cute, hilarious and somewhat filthy can label, the talented hop sculptors and adolescent marketers at Hoof Hearted put together an equally filthy good imperial IPA that's certain to bring people together. I think I have to bathe now.

Did We Just Become Best Friends? pours with a deep straw, moderatly turbid haze and topped with a light and arid meringue. Citrusy aromas spill onto the senses along with tart tropical fruit scents and hints of wine, orchard fruit and melon. Malt flavors seem of the sweetness of fruit juices, equipped with a fructose simple syrup, light honey and with a light pastry character.

But the hops simply bloom on the tastebuds as the sweetness dissolves and the fruit forward flavor of hops build into a juicy lather. Pineapple, passionfruit, white grapefruit, tangy under ripened orange, hints of gooseberry and kiwi, and then a refreshing honeydew softness. Smooth bitterness carries a bite of juniper and gin, with a kiss of white wine, spruce and freshly muddled herbs in the beer's waning bite.

Crisp, clean and refreshing from start to finish, the medium bodied beer relinquishes its weight early in the session and provides a dangerously drinkable dryness from the middle onward. Trending bitter and almost tart, the taste of citrus and tropical fruit rinds continue that gin-like zing deep in aftertaste.

This is without a doubt the best HH beer I've tried now.
L: Turbid orange body that has a bit of a glow. Small white head that leaves a lot of lacing behind.
S: Big, giant tropical aromas with a hint of grassiness and citrus peel.
T: Very tropical, with notes of mango, papaya and pineapple.
F: Soft, full, nicely bitter, just awesome.
O: I will 100% trade for this beer again. This was an add-on for a Konkey Dong trade and I think it's a lot better. If only I had known!

Canned around 3/19ish timeframe
Poured in a Fwends logo Teku glass

L: Hazy, yellow, like pineapple juice. Small amount of pillowly head, that went away pretty quick.

S:cracked can and immediately hit by pineapple and citrus. AMAZING.

T: Pineapple, Citrus, Grapefruit pith, a little bitter. A bit sweet upfront. Real amazing. Easy sipper. Could drink 5-6 at a time.

Feel: Pillows. Little dryness. Flavor lasts in the mouth.

O: Amazing beer. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. An awesome NE style IPA for sure.
