Cloudy, smooth, and citrusy---and a dangerously easy to drink double IPA from one of Ohio's best breweries.
The beer pours completely opaque, bright yellow, and with a thin white head. The bubbles are tiny, which contributes to a silky mouthfeel.
The smell is the weakest point of this beer---it has very little nose at all. As it warms, you can get a bit of tropical fruit, but it's difficult to really parse it further than that.
The taste is also subtle, but more interesting than the nose. The beer has a tropical juice note, along with a bit of almost sour funk, probably from the wheating. There's no hint of booze whatsoever.
The beer is smooth and bright. If I didn't know better, I'd say it came from Trillium, as it fits with their funky IPA brand.
