Karate in the garage?
Welcome to the dojo. Loosen that gi and repeat after me. "Velociraptors, Hall and Oates, vintage leather duster coats." Ahhh, very good.
It's common knowledge that the power of two is greater than that of a mere mortal. It's for that exact reason that we've selected choice co-conspirators to collaborate for the greater good of all. In this iteration of our newest rotating DIPA, Amarillo and Simcoe were forced to go belly to belly with the lights off. Frankly, the results were a bit of a surprise.
When we finally peeked in the garage, we found the two cuddled firmly under one of Dad's half-used oil rags, limbs intertwined and forming but one whole cone. "Did we.." Amarillo begins to ask. "Yup. We sure did."

16 oz can
Pours cloudy lemon golden, white head retains as a lacing.
Smells of fresh citrus and tropical fruit over cereal malts.
Flavor is of citrus, mango, zest, cereal and bready malts with an herbal hop finish.
Medium body, stinging carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
Very tasty hazy DIPA. The flavor is nice and bright and it drinks very smoothly. Like this a lot and looking forward to the next one.

Big, fluffy white head - about 2 1/2 fingers from a moderate pour. Retention and lacing are excellent. Body is lemon-yellow and quite hazy, albeit not opaque.
Nose: lemon drops, lemon grass, citrus peel, cracker, pepper, dank herb, pomegranate, honey, flowers, vague tropical impressions.
Incredibly - and shockingly - juicy on the palate, swirling with tropical tones up front, yielding to a dank middle, and sweet citrus on the finish. Front third features pineapple, mango, and passion fruit; finish gives impressions of ruby red grapefruit, mandarin orange, and lemon. Throughout, notes of bright herbs, grass, and pepper make little appearances.
Soft, but with a lively mild bite. Exceptional drinkability; an imperial IPA that borders on "refreshing."

Appearance - Pours bright murky yellow with a big white head excellent retention. Tons of lacing all around the glass.
Aroma - Tropical mango, orange, citrus peel, pine, caramel.
Taste - Taste leans a little more bitter which is nice. It also has the mild tropical mango and citrus peel. A slight touch of floral hops at the end.
Feel - Medium bodied soft carbonation pretty dry finish.
Overall - Well done IPA alcohol is well hidden, this oen is a bit more bitter which is fine by me.
