Puréed pineapple dominates this beer on the nose and in the taste. Vanilla and milk sugar pull it the beer together with Mosaic and El Dorado hops. A jumbled mix that somehow pulls together for a very tasty beer. Mouthfeel is generally good but low carbonation doesn’t help. Overall a good pineapple forward beer.

Hoof Hearted has a well deserved reputation for unique brews. Very unique.
This one pours somewhat flat, but with unusual color - a little dirty pink mixed with that yellow, to make a really dirty yellow. The smell is an odd combination of skunky hazy IPA plus fruit. I'm not sure what fruit, let me check. Oh, that's what it is, apricots. Is that unusual enough for you? The taste is dominated by that fruit. There is a ton of it in there, but with a strong hazy IPA as a base, there is a lot of ale taste to cover and dominate. I have a feeling they did not hop this as much as some of these without fruit.
The whole thing works. It is not a fruit smoothie like some of the Urban artifact brews I like (usually sour based). It feels a lot thinner and sweeter. But it is a little much - so much fruit in my glass.
Recommended. This is an exceptional fruity brew but it is not my favorite Hoof Hearted offering.

Orange and milky and fizzy in appearance ... Big citrusy nose which is wonderful.... Tastes great and the ABV is not at all apparent.... This is very good and could be very dangerous

Pours cloudy orange color with a 2 finger thick off white colored head that faded slowly and left very nice lacing coating the sides of the glass. This DIPA with pineapple, vanilla and milk sugar smells of vanilla, pineapple, orange peel, grapefruit, cotton candy, orange circus peanut candies, papaya and milk as it fades. The ingredients sound like they won’t mix well but somehow they do work well together. Tastes like it smells but a little sweeter from the milk sugar as it seems like crushed Razzles were dumped in an IPA. The orange, vanilla and pineapple are the strongest flavors by far, coming off like an orange creamsicle at times and bordering on cloyingly sweet. It was a very good beer but it’s one and done for me.

Probably one of the most delicious IIPA’s that I’ve ever had :)
Sweet pineapple creamy flavor with beautiful color and lacing -
More like a pineapple cocktail than a brew -
I don’t know why the description above says guava as it says pineapple on label and 9 abv -
So I just found the pineapple version later in the reviews with can art --
Can’t taste the 9 abv whatsoever -
Going to the top 5 of my list !
I think the can art is a bit disturbing imho ..only drawback
Enjoy !!

Silly label. Silly Ingredients on a DIPA.
Looks like orange juice.
Pineapple purée dominant taste and smell. Resiny aftertaste.
Juicy.
Overall: just weird.

16oz can.
Pours hazy pink with a short-lived head of white. Minimal retention or lacing. Tart guava in the nose with a hint of tropical hops. Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Tart tropical fruit with zero malt on the palate. Finishes juicy and mildly tart.
Lacking the vanilla, lactose, or hops as expected.
