Description: Pale, straw colored appearance with minimal white head and Hoof Hearted's signature haziness. Dank, tropical notes (pineapple, mango) dominate the smell with some additional sweetness. Taste is similar to the aroma but the lactose in the beer is far more noticeable. The finish was was anything but bitter. The lactose really makes for an overall smoother beer. Body is medium and carbonation is low.
Overall: 4.25 (This beer is good and I would likely have it again) I wasn't too certain what to expect from lactose in an APA, but it was a hit for me. Made the beer extremely 'crushable'. This is one to try if you get a chance.
