Very slight, leas than a fingers worth of lush bone white froth... Limited retention... Cor is a moderately hazed pale peach... Nose s more subdued than expected... Faint honey, light citrus and a faint touch of candied sugar... Flavor profile mirrors the nose near identically with the only difference being the slight addition of some tart fruit... Feel is on the fuller side of medium bodied with a slight carbonated bite... sturdy... Excellent beer all the way around... Highly enjoyable and u pique...

If only all beverages could be as good as Hoof Hearted beverages.
This pours a clouby yellow with nice fizz. The aroma is actually somewhat subdued stankiness so you don't get a great feel for the big hazy IPA coming your way. It has a lot of juicy thickness - chewy, actually. The alcohol seems like it isn't there.
Recommended. Another great hazy IPA from a brewer that always seems to get things just right with this style.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned August 16th 2022. Pushing it a bit here.
Creamy looking orange to yellow body color, with a opaque but not turbid or sludgy appearances. Some nice real slow rising fine carbonation, hitting a classic three finger white head, not so bright, not off color, but good staying power and some big bubbles and lace.
Aroma is interesting. Even with some pushing freshness limits, there's a good amount of aromatics coming off here. Barleywine like sensing hop actions of citrus and treacle dark sugar sensing sweetness to surprisingly. Definitely that touch of honey blossom as well which seems very fresh sensing as well. Big honey front on this, playing almost in braggot like territory. This is very nice.
This is quite surprising on the palate. Chewy sensing body, but has that excellent lip smack coating of honey and orange flavor real nicely. Mid palate is soft bodied and rich, somewhere between IPA and more American style barleywine. Mid palate rich of soft honeyed orange and fruit, almost like a sweet jam that gets spread on the tongue. Honey sweetness that is neither cloying, overly sweet, or super thick either, just dialed in like perfection.
Not quite IPA, not quite Braggot, not quite Barleywine, but all of it just lipsmacking good.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left some lacing down the sides of the glass and a thin collar around the edge.
S: Moderate aromas of honey are present in the nose along with underlying notes of lime citrus. As the beer warms up, the honey becomes less apparent.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a heavy dose of honey along with notes of lime and hints of mango. The flavors of honey linger into the finish.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and somewhat smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You definitely get a sense that this beer is a heavy hitter with the aromas and flavors of honey and the heavier mouthfeel. It is a slow sipper.

Canned 1/31/22
Yet another brew received in a BIF from @Eziel! My first time having Hoof Hearted (other than the mystery chug beer he sent me) and I can’t help but laugh at the name. I’m a child, whatever. Anyhow, honey in a DIPA can do wonderful things, so I’m excited to crack this one open
Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of soapy off white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose here is a bit understated, but it’s quite nice. I’m picking up on aromas of papaya, bready malt, orange juice, peppery hops, light honey, and a touch of booze
Oh man, I knew going in that this was 10%, but it really makes itself apparent. Not that it’s an issue, the booziness actually adds a nice touch. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange marmalade, earthy hops, crackery malt, honey, sweet booze, and light lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of sweet honey, orange marmalade, bready malt, peppery hops, and light sherry
A medium full body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a smooth and hot beer. Finishes neutral and a bit sweet
For the style it’s definitely different, and I can see why some may not enjoy it, but I like the boozy heat here. Good stuff

1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours orangish yellow and turbid. It is topped with an inch of beige head that leaves decent lacing.
The smell is sweet with hints of alcohol. Tropical fruit seeps through to round out the smell.
The taste is sweet and fruity. The alcohol comes through to let me know that this is a 10%er.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
This is a pretty good beer. The alcohol with certainly kick my ass.
