I was expecting it to look green. It looks strawberry-coloured. It tastes very much like a strawberry smoothie. I expected more of a sourness to it, but no such element was present. Should have been labeled a milkshake IPA.

The can stated this was a sour IPA with vanilla bean, strawberry puree and strawberry power belts, tumeric, FD&C red No.40 and FD&C green No.3. I have no clue what strawberry power belts, tumeric, FD&C red No.40 and FD&C green No.3 are, but I can say that this was not very sour for a "sour IPA". It was very tasty and fruity, with the strawberry and other fruity flavors mixing well with the citrus hops, caramel and malty backbone, but sour and tart this was not. Oddly enjoyable.
Great name for this beer as I ended up doing searches on the ingredients: FD&C red No.40 = red food dye; FD&C green No.3. = green food dye; strawberry power belts = strips of sour and gummy strawberry flavored candy which contains sugar, wheat flour, glucose syrup, malic acid, palm oil, artificial flavor (strawberry); turmeric is a flowering plant, Curcuma longa of the ginger family, Zingiberaceae, the rhizomes of which are used in cooking.
