The internet ate my review, so here is a short one

Loads of dark chocolate, some booze & dryness, lovely barrel presence. Coffee & dryness as well along with marshmallows

Nice nose, plenty of barrel, hints of maple candy

Great drinakbilty for the ABV

1 PINT can
Served in a snifter

This beer pours black and is topped with an inch of deep brown head that leaves no head.

The smell is chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and alcohol in that order.

Chocolate and vanilla flavor is up front. Coffee comes in near the end. It is sweet. No alcohol is detected in the taste.

Full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

I am enjoying this beer. The coffee notes help offset the initial sweetness. The 13% abv is apparent in giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

16oz can poured into a stemless wine glass.

Super dark and thick. Small khaki head that leaves smalls traces of lacing.

Rich chocolate, vanilla, caramel and faint coffee in the nose.

Taste mimics with the chocolate and caramel shining. Quite sweet.

Light carbonation-medium heavy body. Slick as hell.

Vicious and definitely an ass kicker. Hits all the marks but the sweetness does get tiresome. 16 ounces became a chore to finish. Still good and worthy of a purchase.

16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; small dark khaki head that fades leaving okay retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Mild and subtle hints of coffee and vanilla. Some chocolate. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. Lots of chocolate syrup. The coffee is balanced and doesn't dominate. More hints of vanilla and marshmallow. The milk sugar definitely comes through. It's definitely on the sweeter side, but it's not cloying. It's sticky. Low bitterness. Strong malt backbone. Finishes with a subtle warmth, but the alcohol is truly well hidden, especially considering the ABV. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate to low carbonation. It's thick, syrupy, velvety, slick and smooth. This one is dangerously drinkable.

This is a pretty good imperial stout. It's very bold, but everything is balanced. It has alot of the great qualities that people look for in the style. The craftsmanship is impressive. Well done.
