1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours black and is topped with a short-lived mocha head that leaves no lacing.
The smell is chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, and alcohol. The coconut comes out as it warms.
Chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut envelope my tastebuds. The coconut adds depth to the flavor. The alcohol is hidden better in the taste than it was in the smell, but you still know the alcohol content is high.
Full bodied with a smooth, viscous mouthfeel
This is an enjoyable stout. I don't get much barrel character other than straight booze in the smell. I am going to have the base beer next for science. If my opinion changes I will revise my statement.
