Canned on: ???????
A - Black pour with moderately dense caramel colored creamy lacing and delicate carbonation cascading up through the middle of the glass and breaking at the surface.
S - Minimal chocolate char with traceable hazlenut and vanilla residue on the nose.
T - Light chocolate char base with delicate hazlenut and vanilla over top while finishing uneventful with some underlying chocolate malt char. Lingering light chocolate, vanilla, and hazlenut on the backside.
M - Big silky, viscous body that leaves a sticky residue on the lips.
O - Impressive for a 13.5% beer to hide the ABV this well, kudos to Hoof Hearted for the deceptive drinkability on this one. I wish this had more assertive Stout personality because everything melds into a big "meh" black hole that lacks personality. Impressively well hidden ABV but falls way flat on the flavor spectrum (and not a cheap 4-pk, to be expected because of the ABV / ingredients).
