From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid little imperial pours a pitch black with dark tea highlights and
a moderate head of brown foam that settles to a thick ring that fizzles
to a thin ring with faint lacing and decent legs. Nose of dark chocolate
fudge, vanilla cream, subtle coconut, and deep roasted goodness. Flavors
surpass the nose with dark fudge, muscovado sugars, deep roast, moderate
char, vanilla cream, brulee, and toasted coconut dashed with dark berry notes
of blueberry and blackberry. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, moderately
warming, and finishing nicely balanced between sweet and roasted bitter malt
notes.
Overall, the good hoof folk know their onions on good imperial stouts and this
one is no exception!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 3/1/2024. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stuck around a while. Small amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut, Muscovado sugar and some coffee. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some caramel and dark bready flavors noticeable too. Leans sweeter tasting but not overpowering at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, certainly worth trying if you come across some!
