Look is dark with light brown foam intermingling throughout the surface. Nose has notes of cherry, vanilla, chocolate and oak. Taste is sweet with fruit notes and vanilla. Mouthfeel is smooth but not quite silky. Not sure how this version compares to previous iterations but in my opinion it really stands positively from other barrel aged stouts I've tried in terms of smell and taste. Don't understand the relatively low rating.

From notes.
A dark tan froth covers this pure black brew. Smells of dark chocolate and bubblegum. Tastes of grain, vinegar, chocolate and alcohol. A touch of syrup is left on the lips. Weaker than wished for and almost watery.
Nothing going on here so keep on moving.
