North East Pale Ale. Fresher than ever! Share the love of this hazy North East Pale Ale with everyone you know. Brewed with Southern Cross and Citra, then dry-hopped with Mosaic, making this a unique and crushable juice bomb that delivers a big flavour without being sweet. Very appropriately named, Yummy!

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From their Hoptastic Voyage boxset at my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Date stamp illegible. My 6th beer from the Ottawa, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. With Gracie the cat...

A-Opaque yellow with a strong white head
S-Nice aroma of tropical fruits in the form of pineapple, mango with a citrus kick of orange and tangerine.
M-Medium body with higher end carbonation that is peppery and takes away from some elements of this beer. Mouthfeel is juicy but the carbonation gets in the way
T-Sweet ripe fruit upfront with a mellow bitterness that sticks to the back of the cheek. Citrus pith bitterness lingers for a while.
O-This can be a good beer, but carbonation got in the way. Maybe a younger cab would be better, this one was 55 days old…

L: Opaque hazy medium yellow, a thick layer of offwhite foam
S: Pleasant fruity smell with notes of melon and citrus and a hint of doughy malts and spiciness
T: Well rounded modestly tropical fruitiness with a slight resiny spicy pine and citrus pith. Toffee malts take the back seat. Slight bitterness grows as the beer warms up but is not overpowering
F: Thick and foamy but not too heavy, medium carbonation, a bit oily
O: Easy drinking with an enjoyable taste and feel, great for summer

I bought a can today at the lcbo in Ontario 473ml at 5.4%.
poured a 2finger head into glass very hazy color and a nice fresh smell of the tropics.
taste is very tropical orange pineapple mango and grapefruits.
I didn't clearly see a brew date or code on my can .
overall a good north east pale ale beer with a medium bitterness.
leaving a lace as you drink.
cheers.

473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for $3.75 CDN or so. Canned May 7, 2021.
Appearance - Rich hazy orange-gold and two fingers of soft rocky white head. Some lacing sticks to the edges of the glass. Also a huge chunk of sediment spilled out, not quite the most appetizing.
Smell - Muted tropical notes, grapefruit, and then some sort of mango and melon combo with an added sweaty gym socks aroma.
Taste - Fairly citrusy, grapefruit and lemon with some elements of melon and cantaloupe. Nothing terribly juicy here or distinctive. Improves considerably as it warms up.,
Mouthfeel - Medium-light bodied good expressive carbonation, easy drinking.
Overall - A fine pale ale, but nothing spectacular about it, worth a try and I may get a second can and ensure to roll it out before hand to ensure the sediment is less clumpy.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated May 7 2021 and served slightly chilled. Listed at 5.4%.
Pours a turbid pale straw colour, producing one finger of smooth, creamy white head that lasts for several minutes. At that point, it has been reduced to a frothy collar and film, with a few strands of sticky lace also flung about behind it - looks like your average New England-style pale. Fruity on the nose, with lemon-lime citrus figuring in strongly, alongside notes of honeydew melon, tropical fruit and floral hops.
Not bad at all - I'm getting orange juice and white grapefruit at the forefront, joined by mango, melon and apricot by mid-sip; there's also a slight undercurrent of wheaty malt sweetness. It finishes with grapefruit pith, orange peel and a floral, spicy, slightly pine-y hop bitterness that persists into the aftertaste; hints of wheat sugars and hop acids last slightly longer. Medium in body, with aggressive carbonation that feels quite prickly on the tongue, remaining so well into the course of the session. Fairly good drinkability - I could've gone for another, but it's not something I could stick with all night.
Final Grade: 3.86, a worthy B+. Yummy! isn't the most creatively titled beer I've ever come across, but it's a pretty solid NEPA. Good mix of juiciness, wheatiness, bitterness, and hop burn/acidity - it's flavourful, and I enjoyed my glass, though I wouldn't say it blew my mind or anything. I'd probably take BTP's Aromatherapy or Pale Ale Project over this one, but it's still well worth a try if you're a sucker for some New England haze.

Lemon pale body, hazy, forming an off-white head of fine bubbles, with a minute or two retention.
Big fresh hop aromas of citrus (orange and grapefruit) and pine. Juicy and clean.
Taste keeps the trend going, super fresh and juicy citrus hop flavour, bringing to mind fresh squeezed OJ, and soft pine like spruce tips. Smooth and almost creamy feel, with medium-light and fine carbonation. That combined with a full (not heavy) feel makes it feel almost luxurious, which I got to thinking might indicate some wheat, and checking the label, there it is. Bitterness is muted, well balanced with the malt, finish is off-dry.
A fantastic IPA, luscious and bursting with fresh hops flavour. This might convert those opposed to IPAs, it's approachable with a balanced bitterness. Great stuff.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware.
Nose is citrus, starfruit, lemon and a touch of grass. Pretty mellow. Beer opens lemon rind bitterness. Hints of citrus, pine, grass, grapefruit and grass. Nicely balanced with some citrus fruit interspersed by some jagged hop bitterness. Solid. Body is light with moderate carbonation. Lightly prickly on the palate and goes down sparkling and quenching. Clean finish with a slight, mellow, bitter aftertaste. Really drinkable.
A balanced, drinkable APA that's very representative of the style and what it's all about.

Pours hazy straw with a persistent frothy head. Rich, fresh peach and tropical fruit notes explode on the first sniff. Hugely hoppy aroma. The taste is heavily bitter with a citrusy, resinous hop bite up front with mango, apricot, peach, pineapple notes in there. Malt is basically AWOL. The mouthfeel is medium with light carbonation and a mouth coating of lupulin. High bitterness in the everlasting finish.
Hop tea? Maybe, but dank, delicious and complex. Sublime stuff for hopheads.

Easily the best of the Beyond the Pale offerings, although their Aromatherapy American IPA is quite nice as well. If you don't like hops, you should go back to Bud or Blue. Mind you, a few non-hop esters in a beer is nice, too.
