THE LATEST in our beloved genre series, this double dry-hopped IIPA is brewed with new experimental hops from the PNW (naturally). A real standout of blueberry, orange/vanilla and complex tropics abound. An instant fav among the Beersmiths.

Hazy, orange color. Big, white head. Mango, vanilla, and orange in a tropical aroma. Juice and moderately bitter. Slightly astringent finish.A good one.

From the bottom of the can in dotted ink: "1631 11/04/21"
Appearance: The body is a medium shade of gold with an opacity similar to yellow Jello. The head is short, white, and slightly fluffy. Although the head is short it has good retention. There's a very slight sloped bit of lacing on the glass.
Aroma: It has an interesting smell which is similar to lemon cookies. The aroma is very faint but it smells nice. From time to time there is a light bit of cabbage but mostly it has this very faint lemon cookie scent which is nice.
Taste: Up front there is a nice burst of lemon and a bit of papaya and pineapple. It has a bit of a Lemon Pinesol character. It has a pleasant fruity middle, with a more amplified lemon flavor and hints of papaya. It is a pleasant and somewhat tropical tasting drink with a bit of a lemonade quality to it. The back of the mouth has the same previously mentioned flavors and the aftertaste has this slightly sugary sweet vanilla flavor.
Mouthfeel: It is light bodied and easy to drink with a wet and somewhat watery finish. Bitterness is low but it has this pineapple skin bite to it.
Overall: As a whole I enjoyed the beer and the fruity flavors it brought to the table. While the appearance, aroma, and mouthfeel were alright the flavors really stepped up and carried this beer. The lemon flavor and aroma was really nice and the additional tropical flavors were pleasant. I would buy it again in a can but I would love to try this again on tap if I ever get the chance. I would recommend it.

A: The beer is quite hazy pale dark yellow in color and bit too hazy to see any visible carbonation but not hazy enough to see that there are lots of suspended particles near the bottom of the glass. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin collar around the edge and some specks of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of dank hops are present in the nose - herbal and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger flavors of hops with additional notes of lychee. A light to moderate amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has a unique combination of aromas and flavors from the hops in the smell and taste. It also does a very good job at masking any traces of alcohol from the taste.

A NEIPA style straddling the line between IPA and DIPA. The hops and aroma and brimming out of the can and glass.
It is hard to go wrong with this brewery as they have a lot of great beers and have not been disappointed.
This one has a lot going and it really tasking like a full blown DIPA with a rich mouth feel making way for a lot of fruit forward hops. Reminds me of a Tree House Curiosity Series beer, pushing the dry hopping limits or trying some different combinations based on some their successful beers.
Did not read or look into the hops additions, but this worked for my taste buds as I was looking for a hop assault and it delivered.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Date is probably 10/12/20. Got it from Tavour.
Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized clumpy, coarse head. Smell is tart orange and tropical juice.
Taste is very juicy, some pith or unripe fruit flavors. Mild floral sweetness.
Mouthfeel is thick but not heavy, moderate chalkiness. Overall, really nice.

I finally went out and got some real brews today (there's a pandemic going on and I don't go out). Man, I hope they are all as good as this. Wally at the store picked them for me, and he some how got 21 cans to be just over $100. He always picks the best for me.
This one opens a nice AIPA dirty yellow, with decent foam and not too cloudy. The aroma is a big skunky funk. Fortunately, the taste is hardly at all funky, and more of a divine mix of hops and malts. It's not too bitter or too sweet - Goldilocks would be happy. The aftertaste is excellent, hoppy. I like the way this ale smelled one way, tasted another, and again was different in the mouthfeel.
Highly recommended. I know I have been less kind for other Singlecuts I've reviewed because they are too expensive, and thus they must be really good or the ratings are lower. This one (I think I had it before) may be the best I've had from this brewer (or maybe I'd just lost my mind with all the Costco Advent calendar German stuff - yuck).

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store just around the corner. It poured a cloudy orangish with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had nice fresh Tangerine and orange fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright orange and citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
