A dry Belgian farmhouse ale with a heavy dose of rye that provides a big spice and peppery profile to compliment the spicey yeast character. This beer is bittered with Pacific Jade, a New Zealand hop that pairs nicely with the spice of the rye and yeast, and finished with Citra, which adds a hint citrus and tropical fruit to the beer to balance out the flavor profile. The finished product is a beer that is dry, crisp, and refreshing.

Hazy pale golden hue. Smells like a saison's yeast make up. The large amount of rye gives a nice peppery spiced effect on the pallet, without it being spicy. Coming in at a 6.2% you'd never guess it given the pale smoothness and tasty quick finish, with no unpleasant aftertaste. I could drink this all day. Dlish.

Growler filled yesterday.
Pours a decent fizzy foamy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, decent soapy lacing, super hazy murky pale orange-yellow like color.
Nose is pretty nice, pretty much exactly what I would want for a rye saison, with nice base grainy malt, grassy straw and wheat, lemongrass, little grainy dough note, touch of lemon cereal, with nice spicy rye notes, faint saison spices and esters, nice lemon zest and citrus notes, nice citrus bursts as it warms, and faint farmhouse saison yeast notes. Light spicy earthy citrus hop not in the background as well.
Taste brings lots of citrus, surprising amount of citrus, lemon and even a little orange like citrus flavors, both rind/zest and even juicy flesh, and a bit of a grapefruit pith in there. I would venture a guess there is something like citra or good batch of simcoe hops in here. The loads of citrus balance nice with the creamy base wheat malts, creamy wheat with cereal grains, toasty and grainy straw and dough come more on the back end, but a little up front, mostly creamy wheat and cereal, a little lemon cereal, and some lemongrass with grassy malt notes as well. Rye is a bit more muted on the taste compared to the aroma, a little spicy rye note but even some fruitiness from the rye. Lots of grassy flavors on the back end with those grainy dough toasty malts and wheat, more hops coming through especially on the finish, with a fair spicy hop component, more citrus hops, and more lemony notes, zest and pith mostly. Faint saison spices in there, with a little estery note, and light light farmhouse.
Mouth is med bod, some creamy wheat, and decent carb but the carb is a little light.
Overall quite tasty, well done rye saison with just about everything I could want in it. Nice grainy doughy malt base with nice creamy wheat, decent saison yeast although a bit more farmhouse would have been nice, the rye was good esp on the nose but maybe could come through a touch more on the taste, and the citrus burst on the flavor was a very nice surprise, and went well with the fruity component of the rye and nice lemony saison flavors and lemongrass notes, etc. Also a touch more carbonation would add a bit more depth to it. So overall a very tasty and enjoyable beer, and with a couple tweaks I think this will be out of this world.

A unique saison. This Rye Saison is very smooth with a good amount of sour hint to it.

Poured from a 500ml swing-top growler that was filled at the brewery the same day, into a US tumbler glass.
A: The beer is a deep yellow color, with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains citrus, wheat, caramelized rye malts, some Belgian yeast, some spice and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of wheat, Belgian yeast and a hearty rye malt character. Then some sweetness comes in from flavors of citrus, spices and caramel. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, good variation of style, this is a very solid beer to drink for a long time.
