Pours a dark deep brown color. Thinnish off white head disappears steadily.
Aroma is off-putting an unpleasant. Strong vegetal notes come through - broccoli, vegetal grasses with some earthy nutty notes.
Taste is extremely vegetal and bitter - completely unpleasant. There are some notes of tobacco, nutty earthy hops and some malts that come through.
Feel is light, thin, and if it tasted good, would be an easy drinking brown ale.
Not sure what is up with this one, but it was quite disappointing.

A sessionable brown that didn't more than make a crummy winter day into a half-crummy winter day.
And K-Town Looks the part for a bleak day (an OK brown with some clarity, but no foam.)
Smells are normal, mostly malt.
Tastes are more to its credit as the roasty caramel notes come through first and then some nuttiness. All balanced.
Feel has enough bubbles to clean the palate and it went OK enough with roasted potatoes.
My first from Public Craft, I read their can; rhapsodizing about the "Beer For The People" (which is good)... but then evolved the joke into the difficulties of world Peace... (which also is good, but not easy to explain on a beer car, even a pint-sized one.) Founded in 2012, Public Craft seems like it is ready for its next step; every 7 years one should become something new, the old yogic wisdom.
