Bro brought a clear bottle with this pink liquid inside. A little darker than pink. Pinkish leaning to red. This is the first review of this beer on BA. Not sure about those people who just add a beer but don't review it. Psychopaths among us.
Pour didn't really retain a head. Color is pretty though. Not clear. The aroma is pretty straight forward, its almost entirely the balaton cherry. Saison yeast doesn't really announce itself here. Just smells like fruit and maybe some virgin oak.
Taste is pretty wow. Good dry cherry skin promotes dryness in the mouth feel. That great sweet sour interplay of the cherry. This beer, and every balaton cherry beer should be centered around what is the best cherry variety for beers. The saison base comes out a little more as the sourness isn't super strong and allows the wheat and yeast to be noticed more than it did in the aroma.
Kind of surprised that it was almost 8%. Didn't taste like it. At the end of the day, this was a very good beer. Haven't had anything coming anywhere close to not being good from this brewery. But man, that book. . . its loooooooong.
Anyways, I messed up the original loading of this review but I think we got it fixed. Put it here instead, delete the other one, then upload the right one.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
