Pours out the clearest and lightest looking beer I've ever seen. Almost clear as water. Very, very pale straw. A slight yellowish tinge. Looks like well hydrated urine. Heh heh. A slight cloudiness develops from can sediment. A fluffy white head leaves good retention and lacing.
Smells moderately smoky and meaty, ham and hot dog water, a bit metallic, pilsner malt.
Upfront you some savory smoke, ham and hot dog, really light and crisp pilsner malt, a bit grainy, not much sweetness to speak of, some oyster cracker, the smoky meatiness lingers on to the back end, finishes crisp and clean with a bit of lingering oils and smoke residue.
Light bodied but honestly not too watery, well carbonated and rich smoke distract from any potential wateriness.
A well done Grodziskie! I love this style, and OMF did a good job at it.
