To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of White Pony, we are pleased to bring you this celebration of hops – perfect to enjoy while listening to the album. We feel the best way to honor this milestone is to collaborate on a beer loaded with flavor, so we pumped the volume, and double dry-hopped this India Pale Ale. This adds an extra layer of hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, resulting in a juicy, tropical, IPA. Cheers to 20 years, and we look forward to 20 more.

Cheers, Belching Beaver & The Deftones

Great NE style IPA. It's mildly fruity with just the right amount of bitterness. A little low on the carbonation. Although, I had to pace myself because this beer is super drinkable. I will be adding this one to my rotation.

A decent balanced IPA, not entirely West Coast nor new school. Canned 9/12 and poured into an IPA nonic. Fairly clear gold body with a creamy white head and decent carbonation. Aromas and flavors of piney & floral hops, with resinous undertones as well as grapefruit, citrus/orange, and malt sweetness. Fairy medium-high in the bitterness department, but balanced with the malt body still, this brew is well-executed and drinkable.

From a 16oz. can purchased at the liquor store.

I don't taste cocaine, or crystal meth, so I'm guessing they didn't get carried away with the "White Pony" theme. Just cracked it though, so I'll edit this review if I end up scrubbing the toilet all night or writing an amazing novel.

Aroma isn't overwhelming, but the flavor is really interesting. "Double dry-hopped" it says. My blind tasting took this as a heavy malt at first due to the sweetness and prune-juice profile in the middle, but it's the hops. I'd love to know exactly what's in here. It's a bit too much, but I suppose that's rock and roll. Maybe I should listen to the album?
