Canned 3/22/24; drank 5/21/24 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy pale yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a small, noisy white head which quickly dissipated; no lacing remained.
Banana, lemon & mild clove notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Banana & faint lemon flavors; mild clove notes on the finish, with a bit of mineral water bite as well.
A decent lil' saison, but it won't make you forget Dupont.

Can Notes: 5/12/24 - (Can - Home) (Chicago, IL) - Can Notes: Purchased from Beer on the Wall 5/1/24 for $3.41 at store temperature, refrigerated upon returning home until opening. 16 oz canned on 3/22/24, best by 9/22/24. 4.4% ABV. A Belgian Inspired Old World Styled Provincial Ale. Brewed and canned by Triptych Brewing Company, Savoy, Illinois.
A refreshing homage to Belgian Saison: Delicately Dry with a lively sprinkle of spice and a burst of fruit. Perfect at the table of any occasion.
Appearance: Lemon yellow cloudy base, very generous sustained carbonation throughout after starting 2/3 of the can in a tall tulip glass. Soupy bubbly brewing leaves relatively quickly without a trace beyond a thin layer over the base and a solid congregation around the rim. 4.25
Aroma: Nice banana clove yeast, strong and delightful, sweet fruit, white grapes, lemon, sweet and bold. Drawing me in. 4.5
Taste: Lighter subtle strength draws out a narrative consistent with the aroma, banana clove light and easy, grape, lemon and citrus providing a nice fruit bouquet. Nice. 4.0
Mouthfeel: Gentle pillowy carbonation, drinks very light and easy. A little dry, sweet overall, body medium and feels a bit creamy with the sweetness. Lemon white grape citrus fruit finish. 4.5
Overall: This is a very good saison, hits the right flavor notes, very light and easy drinking offering on this perfect Saison Sunday!
