Our traditional saison base meets a modern flourish of Hallertau Blanc and Nelson Sauvin hops. Expect bright hints of white wine and gooseberry aromatics, layered with citrus and tropical fruit.

A: Pours with a bit of a haze, a golden/yellow color. A dense white head forms with excellent retention. Lacing for days.
S: Up front is a grape and fruity aroma. Seems to me, to be a mix of esters and the Nelson hops. A classic floral and grassy aroma, that leads to a bit of a phenolic yeast character.
T: Follows the nose, with more of a vinous grape flavor this time. Which is certainly the Nelson hops. A light tropical fruit juicy sweetness. A musty and slightly phenolic yeast is apparent. A bit tart with a peppery spice, which is more of the yeast component for me. Lingering floral, grassy hops and some bitterness; Lots going on here, and it all works really well.
M/O: A medium body that is crisp and effervescent. Love the carbonation level here. Which all leads to something very easy to drink and come back to.
This is sneaky complex. More characteristics developed with each sip seemingly. Though it never gets unbalanced, and the yeast character make a sturdy profile. Along with some substantial hops, that is a pretty classic Saison. Well done all around.
