At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. Canned October 15/25. My 2nd beer from the Toronto, Ontario brewery, and 1st for 2026. Loved by Gracie the cat...

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Oct 4 2023 and served barely chilled.
Pours a clear pale golden colour, fitted with a two finger crown of soapy, bubbly white head that lasts for a little over three minutes. A lovely coat of arcing lace adheres to the glass, with a generous collar and thin, sudsy cap on the surface; it's a good-looking lager. The aroma is boilerplate stuff for the style - grainy pale malts, white bread, maybe a touch of grassiness and apple skin. Basically what I expected, given the spartan label.
Tastes like your basic craft lager - a well-brewed one, but still, it's an innately no-frills experience. Clean, bready pale malts and whole grain cereal sweetness perform most of the legwork, with hints of grassy, earthy hop bitterness bringing up the rear; finishes off-dry. Light in body, with moderately low carbonation a pale lager, resulting in a smoother mouthfeel without the crisp bite. Supremely easy to toss back, one after another.
Final Grade: 3.72, a respectable B grade. Radical Road's Beer is a good lager, but is it a great one? I wouldn't quite go *that* far - then again, as the back label of this can states, "sometimes, you just want a beer." If that describes your current situation, then you could do a hell of a lot worse than this - sure, there are better Ontario lagers out there, but this is well above average. Worth a shot - I'd drink it again, if it were stocked locally.

Delicious, classic beer. Perfect for fall, reminds me of Oktoberfest.
